GIRL STUDENTS GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Girls Students Grievance Redressal Cell is Constituted to ensure that the girls feel<\/p>\n\n\n\n

safe and secure in the campus. The cell resolves common problems faced by the girl<\/p>\n\n\n\n

students<\/p>\n\n\n\n

( individual or general problems). The cell facilitates the submission and redressal of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

genuine complaints and grievances of girl students with regard to any kind of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

academic, administrative and disciplinary issues, other than sexual harassment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OBJECTIVE:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 To deal with complaints of girl students with regard to any problems faced by<\/p>\n\n\n\n

them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 To process all the individual complaints and make recommendations to the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principal and Management to take suitable actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 To provide guidance and assistance for taking preventive steps in the matter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of gender discrimination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COMPLAINT:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any girl student can, in case of any problems can make a complaint to the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principal or Committee in writing. The Committee shall on being referred to it by the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principal or on a direct complaint to the Committee make inquiry or check and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

determine the problems and thereafter suggest necessary actions to be taken by the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objective :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 Provide an exclusive platform to Women employees and Girl students to air<\/p>\n\n\n\n

their grievances either in person or in writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 Devise welfare schemes for women employees and girl students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 To establish dignity, self esteem and respect for women without any gender<\/p>\n\n\n\n

bias in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Women grievance redressal committee is constituted at the beginning of every<\/p>\n\n\n\n

academic year with one of the senior woman faculty as convenor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The committee meets every month to discuss the welfare schemes to be<\/p>\n\n\n\n

implemented for women and girl students. The committee also meets as and when a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

grievance is addressed to it. Efforts are underway to make it more pro-active in the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

vance Redressal cell was formed at CABT, COA and CABM on 14th June 2016. For gender<\/p>\n\n\n\n

equality & gender justice in all its intervention & practices Woman Grievance Redressal Cell<\/p>\n\n\n\n

was established under the Act No. 20 of 1990 of Govt. of India under the able surveillance of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

then principal Dr. J.R. Kadam, College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Loni. The Cell is<\/p>\n\n\n\n

responsible for looking into any complaints filed by students & staff about Woman<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grievances at the college. The functions of the cell are to purely safeguard the rights of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

female students, faculty and staff members of women and also to provide a platform for<\/p>\n\n\n\n

listening to complaints. The Cell also tries to incorporate hygiene habits and ensure a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

healthy atmosphere in and around the college. It tries to equip them with the knowledge of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

their legal rights and redressal of their grievances. To facilitate speedy delivery of justice,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

meetings are organized regularly. The counseling cell processes oral and written complaints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time to time the cell conducts seminars and lectures by specialists and eminent<\/p>\n\n\n\n

personalities to stop violence against women, sexual harassment at work and about health,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

hygiene etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
